Sheer kurma is a very common desert made in all muslim houses during eid festival..the recipe of sheer kurma is quite simple..sheer means sweetend milk n kurma is made from dried dates n nuts ..
for making sheer kurma
ingredients are:
1 ltr milk
1/2 cup sewaiya(vermicelli)
2 tbs ghee
1 cup sugar or as per taste
dry fruits(badam,kaju,charoli,pista)
dried dates
2green elaichi
steps:
first boil the milk..then in another fry pan take 2 tbs ghee n put 1/2 cup sewaiyan n fry till
light brown n put sugar n fry n then put dry fruits n remove
after the milk is boil put all the fried ingredients together with dried dates
n elaichi...
when all the ingredients r mixed in milk cook till the sewaiya becomes soft
n when it is done it is ready to serve hot or as u like..
(if u want to make it more rich u can add mava(khoya) to it)

i just love sheer kurma. in eid day i can have it for the whole day without having breakfast, lunch or dinner.
