Firni (DESSERT)

Ingredients:
1 Ltr milk
1/2Cup uncooked rice
11/2cup Sugar
2 Cardamoms
10 Almonds grated
15 Pistachio grated
4-5 drops of rose water

HOW TO MAKE FIRNI:
  • Soak rice in water for 2 hrs.
  • Drain water and dry throughly.
  • Grind the rice until the rice is finely powdered.
  • Bring milk to boil on high flame.
  • Stir continuosly to avoid cream forming on top.
  • Reduced heat and add powdered rice and sugar,stirring continuosly for 15 mins,till thickened.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Add rose water and cardamoms powder after cooling.
  • Pour into a bowl and sprinkle with grated almonds and pistachios.
  • Cover with silver foil and set under refrigeration for atleast 2 hrs,before serving.
