Ingredients:1 Kg Carrots(gajar)
2-3 cups of Milk
4-5 tbs spoon Sugar
1-2 elaichi
2-3 tbs Badam,kaju and raisins(blanched)
2-3 Tbs ghee
2 Tbs mava(khoya)
HOW TO MAKE GAJAR KA HALWA:
- Grate the carrots,in a pan cook on high flame so that the water dries from the carrot.
- After that add milk to it and stir occasionally till the milk also dries.
- Add sugar and ghee(and cook for 15 -20 mins)cook on slow fire till it dries up.
- Add badam,kaju and raisins to it and stir all evenly.
- After that add crushed mava on the top of halwa.
- U can add more nuts to decorate when served.
i just love this dish. i can eat it anywhere, anytime, in any mood, at any place.
