FOR MAKING VEG PULAV:INGREDIENTS ARE:
2-3 Cups of basmati rice soaked
1-2 Cups of vegetables chopped(peas,carrot,potato,bean,cauliflower,brinjal,)
1 Medium onion chopped
1 Tomato chopped
1 Tablespoon garlic paste
1 Tablespoon ginger paste
2-3 Green chillies chopped
1 Tablespoon whole garam masala
1/2 Spoon red chilli powder
1/2 Spoon haldi powder
1-2 tej patta
1/2 spoon cummin seed(zeera)
1-2 spoon curd
few leaves of mint finely chopped
few leaves of corriander finely chopped
2-3 spoon oil or ghee
Salt as per taste
Water
HOW TO MAKE VEG PULAV:
- Take a pan heat it and put oil n heat ,when the oil is heated put chopped onion.
- Along with whole garam masala,tej patta,zeera n chopped mint.
- Fry till it turns light brown.
- Then put garlic,ginger paste n chopped chillies and fry.
- After that put red chilli powder and haldi powder to it and also add little water.
- And on low flame let it cook.
- After 5 mins add curd to it and stir fry the mixer for 2-3 mins till the oil seperates.
- Than add all chopped vegetables with chopped tomato,and soaked rice and mix.
- Than add water,salt and chopped corriander and make it boil and after that keep on low flame.
- Till the rice is done and ready to serve .
- serve hot with raita or chutney.
- (for making it more rich u can also add cubes of paneer to it)
it is very nice dish but usually we dont have veg pulav.
